wreckage with beating hearts

I think people often react to others by evoking or noticing some congenital flaw. May be that’s how we evolved fighting for food, always trying to cast others down. I noticed this in my own thoughts and in what I hear from others. Example - I once heard from a person who never held a 9 to 5: “What’s wrong with her, she could not work in any of these places”. There is always some deep suspicion, an irreparable flaw that people like to ascribe to others. I do it too. I think it’s crude and not very nuanced. But I am fascinated by our inculcation or impulse to classify negatively. I mean if you take to heart what Reb Speed says, “we are all wreckage with beating hearts.”
