why communism was a bigger calamity than holocaust

Why there is no Gulag museum or Gulag commemoration day? Why don’t we have post traumatic Communism support groups? Reparations from Kremlin? Arguably communism was more deadly for Jews than the Holocaust.

Holocaust was confined to 5 years. Communism was a 70 years slow torture. For the sake of the argument I will speak about Jewish experience under communism only. Hundreds of thousands of jews perished in Gulag and unlike Nazis that killed indiscriminately, Communism often singled out the most educated, the most honest and courageous for murder.

Nothing can be compared to sustained psychological torture on families. Including ideological fear that tore millions of families apart. Brother killed brother as people were forced into betraying each other. There is nothing that can repair this damage for generations. Indeed even bible considers this particular curse to be eternal.
