the sate of Jewish blogosphere

I am trying to find something to read on the jewblogs. All of it derivate, trivial, armature jive. And then there is this - Jewschool: Zeek and Jewcy Join Forces in major Independent Jewish Media Partnership.

“Zeek, an online journal that has helped shape modern Jewish-American culture…”

Pass the kool-aid please… There is one thing in common between Jewcy and Zeek, they both don’t know how to blog and populate their sites with unbearably long, nerdy essays. Since nobody reads Zeek why would anyone read it on Jewcy?
