Penguin house in Tokyo

Sorry this is not a small house, for what is essentially a one man studio dwelling. It as sophisticated house but not small. I wonder what is the material of the exterior curved walls? Does the house has any insulation (it looks like the ribbed exterior structure with board applied to it and no any thickness), how is it heated, there is no room on the roof for the AC units, is the house air conditioned? Because on a hot summer day that top glazed room will turn into sauna.
