G.M. Building sold for $2.9 Bil.
Mortimer B. Zuckerman bought G.M. Building on the corner of 5th Ave and 59th St. The building behind the flagship Apple Store. His partners are Goldman Sachs and the nations of Qatar and Kuwait. I suspect that Zuckerman's Boston Properties is the Real Estate regulatory front, Goldman Sachs is the transaction bank and the sovereign funds of Qatar and Kuwait are the money behind the deal.
