Two most influential Jews of the 20th century

Schneur Zalman of NY nominates two most influential Jews whose influence was as Jews (thus Einstein and Freud can not be counted):

David Ben Gurion who had the nerve to proclaim a Jewish state and create a new Jewish political and historical reality after the Holocaust devastated the old order.

R. Joel Teitelbaum whose stubbornness rebuilt the old order - Jewish reality of East Europe which included not only Tore study but the Yiddish language, Jewish costume, Jewish cuisine, Jewish humor and a traditional Jewish weltanschauung. Only a staunch anti Zionist could accomplish this Herculean task.
