A plea to Dov Wachmann

Dear Dov, your exchange with Rabbi Yudel Shain in response to this post is fascinating. But really, why do you think that they way to respond to the questions raised in his letter is to attack Rabbi Shain�s character?

Them bottom line is that PETA's video shows grotesque scenes. OU banned trachea ripping, but unfortunately no one from the Mashgichim explained the procedures or accepted ANY responsibility.

Should you be asking the Mashgichim to speak up instead of attacking Rabbi Shain?
1. Ask KAJ to comment
2. Ask OU to issue a coherent explanation of the second cut
3. Ask Lubavitcher Rabbonim to take their head out of the sand
4. Write to Nathan Lewin asking to stop seeing Nazis around every corner. We know he is from a family of survivors (his father was an Aguda macher I believe and they escaped before the War). But PETA Jewish vegetarian boychiks do not work for Goebbels.
5. Write to the mainstream Jewish Press and demand that they cover this important story
